Dr. Geeta Shah is a board-certified dermatologist who has been practicing medical and cosmetic dermatology in the Washington, D.C., area for over a decade. She earned her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University, where she graduated from the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) at the top of her class. Dr. Shah completed her residency at Case Western Reserve University, where she served as the chief resident during her final year.

Before initiating a prestigious cosmetic and laser dermatology fellowship at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center in Northern California, Dr. Shah was awarded concentrated apprenticeships with top laser dermatology experts, including Dr. Tanzi. Throughout her career, Dr. Shah has published medical articles and given lectures on the topic of laser dermatology at top meetings around the United States.
Dr. Shah is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Laser Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Her expertise lies in the laser treatment of aging skin, wrinkles, sun spots, redness and rosacea, scars, and acne. She has extensive experience with injectable treatments such as neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and sclerotherapy for leg veins. Dr. Shah has a devoted patient following because of her expertise with lasers and other aesthetic devices and also because of her gentle delivery of injectable treatments.
