Meet Dr. Tania Peters

Board-Certified Dermatologist Serving Chevy Chase, MD, & Washington, D.C.

Dr. Peters graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Davidson College as a Duke Endowment Merit Scholar and pursued her medical education at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She was elected to membership of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in her junior year and served as vice president of the Maryland Beta Chapter in her senior year. Dr. Peters completed her residency at Duke University Medical Center, where she served as resident chairperson for the 34th Annual Southeastern Consortium for CME in Dermatology.

I believe in a ‘less is more’ approach and only recommend procedures that would benefit my patients. I am committed to providing my patients natural results, allowing them to be their best selves.

Following her residency, Dr. Peters joined the dermatology faculty at Duke University, where she treated a broad spectrum of dermatologic conditions and instructed medical students and dermatology residents. Dr. Peters subsequently completed her training with a comprehensive fellowship in procedural dermatology focusing on laser surgery, injectables, and body contouring in Washington, D.C., with top experts in the field, including Dr. Tanzi.

Dr. Peters is dedicated to providing the highest-quality skincare using state-of-the-art technology and the most advanced techniques to customize every treatment to meet each of her individual patient’s needs.
